There is a lot to be excited about at Kiel High School this fall—including a new athletic field and a number-one ranked football team playing on it—and a high level of school spirit was on display last Friday during the school’s Homecoming Parade.

The KHS Marching Band helped lead the parade past Zielanis Elementary School where the football coaches (lower right) joined their team and other KHS athletes in giving high fives to the younger students. Floats were also on display in the parade, the Kiel Middle School Band joined in, and the masked Raider rode a horse along the parade route. Please see this week’s sports pages for a report on another victory by the Raider football team and all the other results of the KHS athletic teams during Homecoming Week.
