Memory Cafés are scheduled for the second Thursdays of the next two months—Sept. 12 and Oct. 10—at the Chilton Public Library, 221 Park St., from 10 a.m. to noon.

The theme for September is Garden Glories and for October it is Fantastic Fall.

A memory café is an early-stage social engagement program that offers a comfortable way for individuals living in the early stage of Alzheimer’s or other dementias to engage with peers also living in the early stage of the disease through community-based social activities. It is a time and place to share stories, laugh, cry, share concerns, and celebrate without feeling embarrassed or misunderstood, creating a place where people enjoy each other and do not focus on the disease.

For more information call 849-4414.

Memory Cafés are sponsored by CAAN AgeWell.
