Connor Voelker didn't find the end zone, but his contributions to Kiel's football playoff win Friday night were immeasurable.

The Raider senior kicked an important field goal, had another record-breaking interception and recovered a fumble to end the game as Kiel scored a 17-0 over a formidable Denmark team in a WIAA Division 4 Level 2 playoff game at snowy Fifrick Field before another large and enthusiastic crowd.
Mitch Mahler's four-yard TD pass to Nathan Goehring in the final minute of the first half broke a scoreless tie and Voelker nailed a 28-yard third quarter field goal. Mahler then put the game away scoring from 17 yards out in the fourth quarter.
Kiel set a new school record with their 11th win of the season. They bring an 11-0 record into next Friday's Level 3 game at Fifrick Field against Berlin, a 24-7 winner over Winneconne. Berlin is a 3-seed and Kiel is obviously the top seed. Kiel has never been past Level 3 in the football playoffs.
