Scoring runs should not be a problem for a Husky softball offense this spring.
The New Holstein softball preview:

Head Coach
- Julie Woelfel

2018 RECORD-
6-14-1 overall; 1-6 in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference (Tie for 7th Place).

2018 REVIEW: The weather was just as much the enemy as the Husky opponents were as April snowstorms caused the Eastern Wisconsin Conference schedule to be reduced in half and NH finished a disappointing 1-6. On a much brighter note, Mackenzie Doherty was voted First Team All-EWC as an infielder with Lexi Danes (infield) and Erin Mullen (catcher) each voted Honorable Mention. Besides Mullen, seniors were Brady Faber (outfield), Alicia Keifenheim (infield), Lauren Stephanie (outfield) and Kelli Winkler (infield).

2019 PREVIEW: The Huskies are ready to put 2018 behind them and aim to become a conference dark horse this season behind eight returning letter winners led by Doherty, second in EWC batting. Karli Schmitz returns as a power hitting center fielder. Other returnees are Carly Reif (utility), Hannah Graf (utility), Mia Blatz (outfield), Sara Endries (infield), Ashley Lisowe (infield/pitcher) and Izzy Casper (infield). Junior prospects include Briann Sabel (utility) and Olivia Schmitz (utility). Sophomores are Alyssa Wagner-Anhalt (pitcher), Jessica Diedrich (catcher), Valentina Winkler (catcher) and Kennedy Meyer (infield).
Defending tri-champs Chilton, Brillion and Valders are all strong again, but coach Woelfel is hopeful her Huskies can make a quick run up the standings.
