Chilton/Hilbert sent two wrestlers to state a year ago and just missed getting a couple others. It was a close conference race and injuries kept the Tigers from reaching the top spot. C/H has a veteran lineup this season and looks to challenge.
The Chilton/Hilbert wrestling preview:

Gerald Hoerth (13th season)
2018-19 RECORD: 4th place in Eastern Wisconsin Conference duals; 3rd Place at EWC Tournament; Two state qualifiers.

2018-19 REVIEW: Zach Boehnlein became the first Chilton wrestler to medal at state since Abe Sell three years ago taking fourth place in the 145 pound weight class. He was a senior.
Gaven Lisowe qualified for state for the second year in a row finishing 24-8 on the year at 152 pounds and Maverik Ott made his first trip to state at 138. He was 33-11. Both lost opening round matches.
After taking a surprising fourth place in the conference dual season, C/H took third at the conference meet. Peyton Ladd and Mathias Beyer were two senior sectional qualifiers.

2019-20 PREVIEW: Lisowe and Ott lead a list of 12 returning grapplers. Phoenix Ladd took fourth at sectionals missing state by one place and Joe Boehnlein was a sectional qualifier, but a broken wrist caused him to miss that meet and with it a solid chance at state. Coach Hoerth also welcomes back Devin Aull, Colton See, Reed Breckheimer, Dylan Anhalt, Kaiden Mikalowski, Trent Breckheimer, Bryce Wurm and Bjorn Wetzel.
Brillion ended Two Rivers five-year reign as Eastern Wisconsin Conference champ, but will be in a dog fight this year with veteran squads from TR, Chilton/Hilbert and Kiel.
