The Chilton boys track team has some holes to fill, namely a state champion in Cody Gebhart and another state qualifier in Dominic Steiner, but an eager squad looks forward to those challenges. The Tigers should be strong again in the middle and long distances.
The 2019 Tiger preview:

CHILTON BOYS TRACK AND FIELD
Head Coach
- Matt Wehde

2018 RECORD:
Seventh in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference Championships; Sixth at WIAA Division 2 New Holstein Regional; Two individual state qualifiers.

2018 REVIEW:
Cody Gebhart was on a mission after a disappointing end to his junior season in 2017.
Gebhart won the WIAA Division 2 state discus championship last season highlighting the year for the Tigers. His winning toss was 181 feet-five inches.
Chilton’s other state entrant for the boys, Dominic Steiner, placed 15th in the 800 meter run at 2:01.66.
Other sectional qualifiers were the 4x100 relay team of Cayden Popp, Patrick Calnin, Devin Aull and John Paul McAllister. McAllister also advanced in the 200 meter dash. He was a senior, as was Chris East.

2019 PREVIEW:
Leading the list of 11 returnees are Popp, Calnin and Aull. Phoenix Ladd, Eric East, Peyton Ladd and Wyatt Schmitz form a strong middle and long distance line up. Jose Martinez is one of the top jumpers while Tyler Merten (throws), Caleb Bertotto (sprints), Marcus Suttner (sprints) and Sam McAllister (sprints).
Replacing the four seniors of a year ago will be tough, but Chilton is hopeful to improve on their conference standing.
