It sure is fun watching all the oriole’s coming to the grape jelly.



Annie is feeding them out of four different feeders, almost one jar of jelly a day. Mostly young ones but lately a few adults.
Driving down HHH last week I thought I saw a heron sitting in a snag in the cattails. I backed up and found a little hole in the cattails and there were five black-crowned night herons and a green heron feeding away on frogs, fish, and tadpoles.
Second time near the Killsnake where we saw fledgling northern harriers. The first time was about 15 years ago.
