It’s dark when I go to work these days, and dark again on the drive home.
I’ll glance out the window around 4 in the afternoon (or earlier, on cloudy days) and think, “It’s getting dark already. I really don’t like this time of year.” The fact that the ground hasn’t been consistently snow-covered this late fall season hasn’t helped, either. When there’s snow on the ground, it just doesn’t seem as dark when the sun goes down.
