Next Tuesday, April 2, people throughout Wisconsin get a chance to have a say in who is running their government.
That does not mean someone in far-off Washington, D.C., which these days can certainly be described as “far off” and seemingly further away than the 860 miles between here and there.
It also does not mean having a say in who is running the government from Madison, although there is an election next Tuesday for Wisconsin Supreme Court which is garnering a good deal of interest. Once again, people who are aligned with the Republican party are lining up behind one candidate while Democrats line up behind the other, proving once again that the supposedly nonpolitical judicial system is anything but nonpolitical.
