To the editor,
As an alderman of the 4th Ward I feel I should respond to comments made at the October Common Council meeting.
Mr. Miller suggested that we all take two weeks off, and then quit. He did not say that in jest, as he has made similar comments at past meetings. He also asked which one of us had the brain storm to come up with this referendum. This has been discussed for the last two years, and was not a snap decision. We had two listening sessions prior to the meeting on the 25th, and each time two individuals showed up to express their opinions.
