Remember way, way back—well, last month actually—when Wisconsin’s new Democratic governor was sworn in and both Republicans and Democrats talked about how they looked forward to working together?
It appears the honeymoon (if there ever was one)is over.
In just the past week several more issues have surfaced which show that the two parties are going to continue to push their own agendas in Madison. That is neither surprising nor necessarily wrong, although a person wonders if compromise is a forgotten word in politics.
