With faith in the Resurrection of Jesus, we offer our prayers for the Rev. Frank N. Weber who entered etemal life on July 14, 2019 at the age of 74.
Father Weber was born in Manitowoc to Frank and Margaret (Klein) Weber. He attended Cardinal Dougherty High School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Overbrook,  Pennsylvania. He also attended Villanova University, Villanova, Pennsylvania, for graduate studies. John Cardinal Krol, archbishop of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, ordained him to the priesthood on May 20, 1972 at the Cathedral of SS Peter and Paul, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served the Archdiocese of Philadelphia for 19 years before requesting incardination in the Diocese of Green Bay.
Father Weber’s first appointment in the Diocese of Green Bay was parochial vicar of St. Bernard Parish, Appleton, in 1991. He then served as parochial vicar of St. Agnes Parish, Green Bay, in 1992, and at Holy Name of Jesus Parish (now Holy Spirit Parish), Kimberly in 1995. On April 15, 1997, Father Weber was incardinated in the Diocese of Green Bay.
In 1997, Father Frank was appointed pastor of Holy Rosary Parish, New Holstein, and St. Ann Parish, St. Anna. From 2005 to 2008, he served as chaplain of St. Paul Manor, Kaukauna. He was granted senior priest status in 2014.
Visitation and the funeral liturgy took place Thursday, July 18 at Holy Rosary Parish. Burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery immediately followed the Mass.
