Lloyd Edward Krueger passed in peace at the Dorn Veterans Administration Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019 at the age of 82.
He is survived by his brother, Earl Krueger (sister-in-law Vernice) and a sister, Rita Krueger. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore Krueger and Selma Hillmann-Krueger; a brother, Eugene Krueger; and a sister-in-law, Yvonne Krueger.
He was born in Appleton and moved to South Carolina in the 1990s. He was a corporate pilot for Allied Corp. in Columbia, South Carolina and settled in Whiteplains Plantation in 2004. He was most proud of his airplane and maintained his membership in the Experimental Aircraft Association. He maintained a successful heating and air conditioning business and will be lovingly remembered by family and friends. He was an Army veteran and served proudly in the Korean War.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church-Rantoul, N6080 W. River Rd., Hilbert, with the Rev. Mark Wilkens officiating. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8.
