Kiel resident Isabelle Kienbaum recently received an honorary high school degree.

Board President Dan Meyer and Superintendent Dr. Brad Ebert were in attendance for the special event along with Kienbaum’s family.
According to Ebert, an honorary degree or diploma is often presented as a way to honor a distinguished person and often presented at regular graduation ceremonies. “But as you can see, we have made our own ceremony here today,” Ebert said.
