Chalk up another honor and another big day for New Holstein High School senior Tyler Stadler last Saturday. He was nominated for and was named to the Wisconsin Football Foundation Scholar-Athlete Team, one of only 11 Wisconsin high school players to be named to the team.

Stadler is the first Husky to receive the honor in the school’s history. He and the other recipients were honored at a banquet and also got to watch the University of Wisconsin spring football game. The Wisconsin Football Foundation, a chapter of the National Football Foundation, annually awards scholarships to the state’s best and brightest student-athletes. Coaches can nominate a player for the National Football Foundation High School Scholar-Athlete Scholarship. Stadler is bound for St. Cloud State University in Minnesota.
