Joe Zenk, pastoral leader of the three Catholic parishes of St. Ann, Holy Rosary, and Ss. Peter & Paul, will be on hand to host a listening session in the Arps Room of the New Holstein Public Library at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 25 for anyone who wishes to have some time with him.
The purpose of these gatherings is to reach out to those who have been affected by the Catholic church in any way and listen to their stories. And in hearing those stories, the hope is that the church can become more aware of its blinds spots and correct them, so as not to continue to hurt or push people away.
Zenk said, “Have you felt neglected by the church? Hurt? Misled? Do you have questions about your faith? Do you simply need a listening ear? This time is for you.”
All are welcome; no RSVP is needed.
