The students of Zielanis Elementary School will walk, jog, and run their way toward a healthier life while raising funds for their school, Saturday, May 19.

The school is hosting its third annual Zielanis Color Run.
This color run is open to the public--for all ages! Toddlers to grandparents are invited to join.
This year there will be two courses to choose from: 2-mile or 5k.
The run will be held at Zielanis Elementary School, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
“We’re extremely excited about our third annual Color Run at our school,” said Monique Curry, Zielanis Color Run committee chair.
Curry added, “The goal is to bring a fundraiser to the school that not only supports our local youth and elementary schools, but brings the students, parents, and community together. Last year we were able to raise over $7000 for the new playground at Zielanis Elementary. To see the community come together and be part of the Color Fun Run was such great memories for all! In addition, the Zielanis participants are collecting pledge donors for miles they run on May 19.”
