Melissa Rach had her son Tyler Rusch with her a while back on a shopping trip to Menards when they spotted a shed—or, as Tyler called it, a “little barn with a porch.”

Tyler knew immediately that he wanted one of those for his very own “man cave.”

Last Saturday in New Holstein, that dream came true with the help of the Make a Wish Foundation, Tyler’s family, and a lot of other caring individuals.

Tyler, 17, has autism and a life threatening form of epilepsy. He is nearing completion of a special program he has attended in Chippewa Falls and will be spending more time at the home of Melissa and Jason Rach on STH 32/57 just north of the city of New Holstein.
