No matter how long or cold the winter has been, Easter seems to take me by least in northeast Wisconsin.
In other parts of the country, spring is well under way, with flowers blooming, grass greening up, and the arrival of truly warm weather. My brother and his wife (who had visited us a couple weeks ago from Ohio—thank goodness it didn’t snow while they were here or we’d never hear the end of it) arrived home to the lovely sight of a tree in their yard covered with blossoms. A photo they shared on Facebook confirmed the cheerful scene. Who wouldn’t think of Easter under those circumstances?
