To the editor:
On June 21, 2018, Charles Krauthammer, age 68, passed into the silent halls of death.
As happens so often, a famous person’s death is noted but quickly forgotten. Mr. Krauthammer’s death is of major significance in the world of political analysis. Born in 1950, in his early 20s he suffered a cervical spine fracture in a diving accident which left him confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Trained in psychiatry he excelled as a writer, and he became the editorial page editor for the Washington Post. In 1987, he was awarded a Pulitzer Prize for his political writing. He was a FOX News analyst for the past 15 years.
