After tabling a decision on major street and utility projects for 2018 at an early meeting, the Kiel City Council voted June 26 to delay the work altogether until the 2019 construction season.



On June 26, the Council tabled action on bids that came in at $570,870.
Kiel Utilities General Manager Kris August was asked to go back to contractors with a request to break out one-third of the projects to include work would include one block of Fourth Street from Paine north to St. Paul Street and St. Paul Street from the rear of the Kiel Middle School east to Fourth Street.
