New Attitudes Dance Company (NADC) held a “Salute to Our Students” car parade in New Holstein on Saturday, May 9 on what would have been the company’s fifth annual Recital Day.

Cars lined up in the New Holstein Fire Department parking lot, then at noon they paraded down Wisconsin Avenue with a police car in the lead. They went past the new NADC studio at 1917 Wisconsin Ave.—the second location in the city for the dance company because of the popularity of dance among young families in the area. NADC staff were standing outside to wave at the young dancers they have not seen in a while because of the coronavirus shutdown. The parade went around the block twice, with a fire truck bringing up the rear. Dance students wore their recital costumes, decorated vehicles, made signs, honked horns, waved, and cheered to the NADC teachers and staff who applauded students for their efforts.
