New Holstein’s First Responders are planning their annual fundraiser for Saturday, Nov. 3 from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Altona Supper Club.

Admission is free and door prizes will be awarded. A variety of raffles and cash drawings will be held, and S-I DJ Services will provide music.
The First Responders is a 100 percent volunteer organization. Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to purchase defibrillators, head lamps, CO2 patient monitors, reprogramming radios, and offsetting the cost of members’ education. The New Holstein First Responders is funded entirely by donations and does not receive any funds from taxes.
As the cost of healthcare equipment and schooling continues to rise, the First Responders continue to provide emergency medical services at no charge. The organization responds to over 300 emergencies per year as well as assisting neighboring communities with mutual aid fire calls.
All donations are tax deductible. Cash donations or gift certificates can be sent to New Holstein First Responders, 2110 Washington St., New Holstein, WI 53061.
