In an exciting match to the end, Claire Meyers and Hannah Dvorak edged Kiel’s duo of Emily and Erin Swanson 6-4, 2-6, 6-3 at one doubles as the Manitowoc Roncalli/Two Rivers co-op team slipped past the Raiders, 4-3, in an Eastern Wisconsin Conference girls tennis dual match last week Tuesday at the Rockville Courts.


Senior Kaytlyn Hartfield continued her roll dominating Roncalli’s Erin Schermetzler 6-0, 6-1 at one singles while Aria Lemke was a 7-5, 6-0 winner over Tierney Dewane at two singles. At two doubles, Caitlyn Muten and Katherine Dickrell were 6-4, 6-0 winners over Josie Dewane and Kiara Johnsrud.
Analiese Olig (#3 singles), Emily Schmitz (#4 singles) and the team of Elizabeth Suchan and Sarah Dawe (#3 doubles), all played well in defeat for Kiel.

Raiders whip Kewaunee
Kiel bounced back last Thursday and cruised past visiting Kewaunee, 5-2, sweeping all four singles flights with Hartfield (#1), Lemke (#2), Analiese Olig (#3) and Emily Schmitz (#4) all winning in straight sets. Muten and Dickrell won their two doubles match in straight sets.
