A fairly veteran Kiel/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah girls swimming and diving team takes to the pool this fall for second year head coach Marcy Keuler. The Raiders aim to move up the conference standings.

The 2019 Raider girls swimming preview:

KIEL/ELKHART LAKE-GLENBEULAH GIRLS SWIMMING

Head Coach: Marcy Keuler (2nd season)
2018 Record: 5th place at Eastern Wisconsin Conference Meet

Looking back at 2018
: Freshman Ally Boyer just missed advancing to state taking fifth place in the 100 yard breaststroke at the sectional meet, 1.5 seconds shy of state qualification.
Kiel/EL-G had two relay teams medal at Ashwaubenon as Boyer, Peyton Radloff, Ellen Keuler and Maggie Keuler took sixth in the 200 and 400 yard freestyle relays.
Boyer captured the 100 yard breaststroke at the Eastern Wisconsin Conference Championships. Ellen Keuler just missed being a conference champion taking second in the 500 yard freestyle. Belle Vogel was the lone senior.

A look ahead at 2019: Optimism is high as nearly the entire 2018 team is back. Boyer, joins Ellen and Maggie Keuler, Radloff and Casper as the key returnees. Jaden Shepherd is a returning diver.
Amber Henschel and Crystal Thede also return. Jenna Sabel and Krysten Neuheus are newcomers.
The Raiders have the quality to move up the EWC standings, but defending champ Plymouth and Kohler Triad just have deeper rosters and are the favorites in the conference.
