A possible reduction in custodial staff hours was a primary topic of discussion as the Kiel Board of Education reviewed the preliminary 2019-’20 staffing plan at their board work session held Wednesday evening, April 3.

Board member Randy Olm said he was concerned about the proposal to reduce custodial staffing in light of what he said are past concerns in the district about the level of maintenance of some facilities. “I’m concerned that this is the wrong thing to be doing,” Olm said.
