Kiel Board of Education members received reports from committees researching referendum options during a three hour work session meeting of the board held on Wednesday, Aug. 1.

Board President Dan Meyer said the goal of the referendum discussion was to bring solid proposals forward from the committees and to be at the financial number needed in order to build a picture of what the final projects will look like for a fall referendum.
Discussed were proposed scope changes to the athletic complex and performing arts center as recommended by the Buildings and Grounds Committee.
