Taking first in seven events, the Brillion/Valders/Chilton girls swim team won an Eastern Wisconsin Conference triangular at Two Rivers last week. BVC had 121 points to second place Two Rivers/Roncalli’s 95 and Kiel/Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah’s third place 86 points.

Grace Risse won the 200 individual medley in 2:24.17 and the 100 yard freestyle at 58.56 seconds. Gracie Streblow won the 500 freestyle at 5:29.55 and the 100 backstroke at 1:04.40.
BVC swept all three relays.
Streblow, Delaney Gulley, Risse and Stephanie Appel made up the 200 medley relay team (2:02.47) and 400 freestyle relay at 4:00.64. The 200 freestyle relay team (1:53.54) consisted of Gulley, Erin Sullivan, Jelena Behnke and Appel.

East Pentathlon
BVC competed Saturday at the Appleton East Pentathlon where swimmers compete in five different events: 50 yard freestyle; 50 yard butterfly; 50 yard backstroke; 50 yard breaststroke; and 100 yard individual medley. They are then ranked by year in school.
Gracie Streblow was the top sophomore in an almost entirely Division 1 field of swimmers with a combined time 3:05.49. Grace Risse was third among seniors at 3:11.49.
For freshmen, Brooke Nenahlo placed seventh with a combined time of 3:31.20 and Addison Frank was the top BVC junior taking 19th at 3:56.61. No team scores are kept.
