Any Calumet County resident—even those without symptoms—can participate in an upcoming free testing event.
It will be held Monday to Friday, May 18-22, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton.
So far, more than 1,000 members of the public have been tested by the units of the Wisconsin National Guard. Officials are focused on citizens from Calumet, Outagamie, and Winnebago counties, but will not turn away citizens from other counties. Extended testing will help improve the public response to the spread of COVID-19. The more that are tested, the more Public Health officials know about the threat to the region.
Individuals will be required to remain in their cars as they drive through the facility. Testing is available to anyone over the age of 5, but minors must be accompanied by an adult. No appointments are necessary, but a patient information form needs to be completed. The form is available via Calumet County’s website.
