Kiel's Austin Conrad
Kiel's Austin Conrad
Kiel’s Austin Conrad and New Holstein’s Brad Schroeder each made First Team All-EWC baseball, not once, but twice as the all-conference list was released.

Although this was the first season that the Eastern Wisconsin Conference had all eight teams play spring ball, Kiel and New Holstein were EWC members in the former summer season, while Chilton played in the Big East Conference prior to this spring.
It’s the third year in a row that Conrad makes All-EWC making it as a pitcher for the first time and the third time as a middle infielder. He had a 1.92 earned run average and a EWC-best five wins. His 40 innings pitched were second in the EWC. At the plate, Conrad hit .489 in conference play ranking him third.
Schroeder repeats as a First Team pitcher. The NH senior had a 1.38 earned run average, third in the EWC and his 33 strike outs ranked him third. He also makes First Team as an infielder where he hit
.298. He was Second Team infield two years ago.

Judkins top batter
Also repeating on the First Team is Husky catcher Kayden Judkens, the conference’s leading hitter at a robust .556. New Holstein shortstop Theodore Schnell makes First Team again. Schnell hit .383 in gaining his repeat berth. He is also Honorable Mention at pitcher.
Chilton places two on the First Team.
Senior catcher Jake Criter, All-Big East in 2018, makes it again at that position. Criter was .370 hitter. Another repeat pick is outfielder Zach Boehnlein, also a senior. The left handed batting Boehnlein hit .440, fifth best in the EWC.
Valders senior shortstop/pitcher Fletcher Dallas was voted Player of the Year.

Second Team

Chilton has three players on Second Team in pitcher Will Kapral and infielders Cole Woelfel and Brady Glidden. Kiel puts third baseman Michael Endries on the Second Team. Honorable Mention selections include Kiel’s Brandon Stephany and Alex Vogel, as well as Randy Smith of New Holstein.
New Holstein and Valders were co-champions.
