A joint venture between a brother and sister has been a successful way to honor their mother and build a thriving business.



Peggy Hansen was enjoying a successful career in the corporate world when she unexpectedly lost her job due to corporate restructuring. It was then that Peggy decided she wanted to do something on her own and build a brand.
She said a discussion about bringing her mother’s Bloody Mary mix recipe to market while at a restaurant with her husband Terry Quinn, mother Nan, and brother Andy sealed the deal. “During the fall and winter months we created the brand, built a business plan and found a co-packer that would produce Nan’s Naughty and Nice mix commercially,” she explained.
