A behind-the-scenes look at the courthouse on election day|
At 8 p.m. the polls close and election workers are busy sorting ballots and completing an assortment of duties.
They pack up their belongings, usually within an hour, and head for home either exhausted from the frenzy of a general election or weary from boredom due to a low primary turnout. The clerk or town inspector then phones in the results from their reporting precinct and they too call it a day.

|Clinic's efforts help save family member|
Where would you begin to put a value on what you have?|

Puppies, kittens, lambs, baby chicks and my precious horse Rusty-and my two brothers sometimes, then later my four children who grew up with animals around all the time.
