Tammy Freis of Kiel said she thought someone was pulling her leg when she received a phone call last week saying she was being put on a conference call with Piggly Wiggly and 7UP officials.
When the callers said she was the winner of a Smart car, Freis said she asked, "Who is this? You're kidding me!"

A Wednesday afternoon construction mishap caused a power outage for the entire Kiel community. The Kiel Municipal Band has reached another milestone in its effort to reach a goal of $50,000 to purchase 100 new marching uniforms for Kiel's musical ambassadors.
Each of the uniforms will cost $500 and the band hopes to reach its goal by December 2011.
