Fernando Malpica scored 11 of Chilton’s 21 points as the Tigers tied Mishicot for tenth place out of 15 schools with 21 points last Thursday in the Earl Hebert Indoor Boys Track and Field Invitational at Manitowoc’s JFK Fieldhouse.

Malpica placed third in the 200 meter dash as he was clocked at 24.73 seconds. In the 55 dash, Malpica had the top time after the preliminaries and ended up fourth following the finals at 6.57 seconds.
The Tiger 4x160 relay team of JP McAllister, Devin Aull, Kody Keberlein and Spencer Bertotto just missed winning as they settled for second at 1:21.01. Manitowoc Lincoln won at 1:20.58. Cody Gebhart rounded out the scoring taking seventh in the shot put at 42’6.
Other top ten finishes included Wyatt Schmitz, ninth in the 3200 run (12:36.12), the 4x200 relay of Aull, Jose Martinez, Sam McAllister and Hayden Russel (9th at 2:19.20), the 4x800 relay of Chris East, Ardy Crucifix, David Weber and Spencer Bertottto (9th 9:54.11) and 4x400 relay of Peyton Ladd, Crucifix, Lupe Albiter-Jaimes and JP McAllister (10th at 4:07.19).
Luxemburg-Casco scored 104.5 points to beat out second place Two Rivers with 76 for team honors.
