For the fourth year in a row, the Raider girls track team won the Reedsville Invitational and with the boys team taking second in their portion, Kiel won the overall co-ed title for the third consecutive season.

Led by a sweep of first through third place in the 800 meter run, Kiel beat out runnerup Reedsville 174-148 for the girls crown last Thursday.
Freshman Julie Koenig won the 800 in 2:35.29, just ahead of teammate Rachel Halbach (2:35.62) with Peyton Koppenhaver third (2:39.84).
That was one of seven event wins on the day for Kiel with Koenig also capturing the 1600 run in 5:32.14.
Fellow freshman Sydney Binversie was another double winner taking the 100 meter dash at 13.63 seconds and the 400 in 1:02.91. Josie Binversie was third in the 400.
Taylor Bushke won the high jump on a tiebreaker at 4’8” and two relay teams also came in first. Halbach, Josie Binversie, Koppenhaver and Cloe Jashob teamed up to win the 4x800 relay at 10:45.14 and the 4x400 relay of Holly Vogel, Caitlin Kravick, Kelsey Maurer and Koenig won in 4:27.93.
Other second place finishers were Jaschob in the 3200, Kravick in the 300 low hurdles and the 4x200 relay of Maria Blatz, Becky Blatz, Melissa Runge and Emma Lucas.
