Town of Schleswig officials approved a request from Scott Faust to digitize pre-1900 town records.

Faust appeared at the Thursday, April 13 board meeting requesting permission to digitize the records. “They are falling apart,” he told the board. “They are historical records and include polling lists, contracts, etc. with original settlers.”
Faust volunteered to digitize the records at no cost to the town with the only stipulation that he be allowed to share the digitized records with area historical societies.
